My first ever U2 concert. Bono takes the stage and screams "This is Gloria". Aberdeen Capitol has an upstair circle where the bouncers keep you sitting down. Not that night Bono gets them all "Up Up Up" and the place is bouncing!
I wish I could remember more but there was a momemt when during October the boy's face lit up behind Larry - you could have cut the atmoshpere with a knife. During Electric Co Bono was up on top of the speakers, balancing like a nutter! Bring it on.
Part Girl involved a blonde girl doing a jig, that started a stage invasion of people wanting to dance with him and Adam! Finally Bono shouted no more!
Highlights of the show were, Gloria, Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Years Day and I will follow.
That was me hooked on U2.
