this was my 2nd u2 show - my first being the previous in buffalo, ny. At the Buffalo show Bono was hurting (if I remember his arm was in a sling) and he also seemed to be struggling with his voice. I remember enjoying the Buffalo show, yet also leaving the Aud that night feeling a little cheated. But this show in Syracuse reaffirmed U2 for me. The show rocked. Bono was 200% - his arm seemingly better and his energy way up. I knew I was seeign a better Bono when half-way thru the show he started knocking water bottles down and throwing stage material around. Instant gratification from the crowd for every one of Bono's aggressions. Left the dome that night feeling great about the band - love their music. I am writing this review almost 18 years after i saw the show - but funny how I can still recall the night. I think a testimony to this group that almost 20 yrs later I can talk vividly about one single night in October, 1987.
