Ah, my 28th u2 show! Saw them a few days before in DC. Both shows were great, but by playing "In a Little While" instead of "your blue room", Raleigh gets extra points over DC. It was a cool moment when Bono threw the mic to the fan up front. When he was about to throw it, he said "be cool". As in DC (and possibly all the other shows?) he took a little boy around the stage during "city of blinding lights" and gave him a pair of his glasses. A great show all the way through. The only complaint would be...and I'm sure some people reading this will agree...was the traffic! We (along with possibly a few hundred other drivers) ditched our car on the side of I40 and walked 30+min to the stadium. Had we not, we would have missed the show. It was awful and U2 got wind of it as Bono made a reference during Beautiful Day when he said "traffic is stuck and youre not moving anywhere...thats for sure!"
See you in Frankfurt 2010!
