I was a huge U2 fan since seeing Live at Red Rocks on t.v. in 1985,a high school friend in Oklahoma turned me on to U2.I was living in Murphressboro and was going to go to the show in Lexington but then they announced that U2 was actually coming to town I tripped!!!I never dreamed I would actually get to go but the night of the show I decided to walk down passed the venue just to see if I could hear anything and when I got close this guy comes up to me and ask if I needed tickets,of course I said yes but didn't dream I could afford them,all I had to my name was $20.00!!!To make a long story short I got to see the biggest band in the world for $18.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have seen a lot of great bands all over the country,some before U2,most since,even a Beatle,but that night in Tennessee I will always remember!!!
