Seen u2 on 13 occasions now going back to 1980 in all parts of Uk and Ireland and i thought the event was ok.Not the best performance by the lads.I was in the standing area about 30 yards from stage and his vocals seemed very poor or the sound was.Crowd particaiptaion was dreadful and i was surprised they came on for a 2nd encore and there was no applause at all.Felt a bit embarrassed for the group, which suprises me from Manchetser MEN gigs before.Co0ncert started too early I think for licensing laws and did not get benefit of light show at all.never been to a u2 stadium gig when they have started before 9.30. this was ctually 8.25 and finsished 10.25 and still light.Off to Croke Park for FRi, Sat and Sun next week and I am sure we will see massive difference.Enjoy if going tonight but please get more involved as a crowd, probably too much prawn sandwiches from Old Trafford
