I have mixed feelings on this one,but mostly good.As im going to Dublin on the 25th of June then i looked on this one as my warm up.We got in late due to work and travelling from Liverpool. We just had time for something to eat and the a couple of J.D's!The lads came on 5 minutes after our arrival but we managed to get a decent view near the front of the outside barrier. My last U2 gig was on the Zooropa tour in Cardiff and i was dissapointed with that one. This was much better but still nowhere near Wembley 87 during the Joshua Tree.Obviously due to voice change and age the same energy is not there, however they put on an unbelievable show. The crowd were drab!Hard to believe but true.Whatever happened to a good pogo? The sooner Liverpool gets a big enough venue to attract U2 the better we would Show the world how to rock.We would be as close to Dublin as possible. The setlist was awesome, mixing the old Classics with the newer future classics.I will Follow and Electic co were an absolute pleasure.I like many was dissapointed with no Party Girl and 40 to close the show though.Back to the crowd and there was what could only be described as a beanpole in front of us who stood there for the whole gig showing no emotion whatsoever. Why didnt anybody offer him a seat? Bring on Dublin!!
