Thanks for all the comments so far, very varied but all tinged with a love of the best rock n band on the planet. It was a strange show in many ways and I've seen a fair few all over Europe since my first U2 gig at the Apollo back in '84. I was lucky enough to end up in the 'Golden Circle' at the front, not through bribery or good looks (!) but because a friend of a friend sold me a Manchester City FC stewards' pass for the same value as a normal ticket. Funny thing was I didn't even know I had the VIP treatment til I arrived at the concert. Pretty uplifting I can tell you!!! To be honest, I was a little embarrassed to be able to stroll around in front of the stage when 20 yards behind me, there were people who'd no doubt been queuing for hours, tightly packed up against the barriers. Also, there were quite a few people in the Circle who didn't seem to know half the songs. I mean , come on , if you were lucky enough to be that close, GET INTO THE MUSIC PEOPLE!! Great show from the boys though, professional as always, Adam has been reborn as a performer. Bono seemed a bit subdued at times but still outshines just about any other lead singer doing the rounds. Still, it's taken me 21 years to get this close to the band and I'm still coming down...CAN YOU HEAR ME WHEN I SING???

Best bits. With or Without You, Edge's guitar, having 20 square metres of my own to go crazy in.

Worst bits. Too light to see the proper show lighting, sound fuzzy at times, no An Cat Dubh.

Weird bits. No-one seeming to know the words to Electric Co. Bono drumming in Love or Peace ...

Tragic bit. That you could have fitted at least another 1000 people into the Golden Circle no problem at all.

Best show since 2nd nite in Vienna on Elevation. See you in Munich! And another few places in between ...
