21 years after first seeing them live, and 4 years since last seeing them - have they still got it? Of course they have. From the opening Vertigo to the end Vertgo U2 put on a show which is quite easily the ultimate in live entertainment. They run through a catalogue of their classics and are truly awesome. It's impossible to say what the highlights were - there are simply too many. There's often talk of bands such as Coldplay being the biggest band in the world - I don't think so! I can't think of any other band who comes anywhere close to U2 in terms of live performance. With the musical ability of Edge, Adam and Larry, and a frontman with the persona of Bono, they can't really fail. And once you've seen U2 live you'll know it can't get any better than this.
My only criticism of the concert was the ticket price. However much it costs to stage such an elaborate show cannot justify the outrageous pricing. U2 are the greatest band in the world, they know they will sell thousands of tickets, but they should keep the prices realistic. The price has literally doubled since I last saw them 4 years ago!
Here's to the next tour.
