the other reviews say it all really - the set, the visuals, the perfomances, the passion, the connection - it was all there, and what we came for. from the 17 year olds we met in line at 10 a.m. ready for their first u2 experience, to the 30-somethings like us, staying in touch with a band that has been a huge part of most of our lives - all agreed afterwards the band delivered on ever score.
on that note note, it's worth mentioning the relevance of this band today - who else could belt out 'vertigo' and then blast back 25 years to 'i will follow', and make them both sound completely cutting edge?
just a shame we're not getting "40" on this leg. yet...
