It's taken me almost two weeks to gather my thoughts about this show, easily the finest I've ever been to. After waiting outside for 7 hours, I made my way into Conseco, into the heart, and by the time PJ Harvey hit the stage, I was front row center stage. WOW! I lucked out! U2 was everything I could have imagined and then some.
* I have NEVER seen a band put so much emotion into each and every song.
* "I Will Follow" rocks live, much better than the studio recording.
* Larry is a trooper behind the drum kit, I swear, in 2 1/2 hours I don't think he missed a beat.
* Bono, The Edge, and Adam looked directly at me and would laugh at my antics from time to time... what an awesome feeling. Felt like I was part of the show.
* God was definitely in the room at Conseco, it can only be described as a religious experience for me.
Thanks guys, and I look forward to the show on the 30th in Detroit! I'm poised to sit outside the arena for 10 hours this time!
