OK this was my 3rd Elevation Show and I will try and be objective. First of all the fact that U2 puts it all on the line every night, means that you will never see a bad show. June 3rd in Hartford was a great show, I thought the sound was incredibly loud and clear there. June 17th MSG was incredible for the NYC energy on opening night in the greatest city in the world and you knew that the band felt it. June 22nd was special for various reasons, but it really looked like the band was having a lot of fun, maybe the last night in the USA and being able to look back at the past 3 months warmed their hearts, I don't know but Daniel Lanois was a special treat as was the "extra verses in one and With or Without You". I also thought Pride and Walk On were played beautifully. Thank you U2 for a Great Tour. P.S. this is not a complaint but just a fact...BONO's voice is taking a beating and when I hear people say his voice was right on, I'm wondering wether they were in the building. BONO gives it his all and that's to be commended and yes the music and his singing with so much passion is something to hear but he himself was pointing to his throat throughout the show and the Edge had to sing some of the oooohhhhing parts last night. As for the lights staying out and giving people false hope for another song, maybe they needed to get Bill Clinton out of the building first for security reasons. All in all every U2 show is a wonderful experience and should be remembered in it's own right.
