Just back from the final Elevation show in NJ. This was my third Elevation show after the two in Montreal, and 4th U2 show, and while I couldn't pick a favourite from MTL adding the 06/22 show only confounds the problem. I must say I wasn't overly impressed with the NJ crowd, not that I had much time to check it out but I didn't even feel much from the crowd until Elevation & BD were over. The crowd did eventually pick it up though.
The band however was on from the get go. The Bono ad lib during SBS was great, Wild Honey was classic to see for the first time, and Bono was incredible closing out BTBS.
I met Larry, Adam & The Edge on the day of the second MTL shows(if anybody wants pics of these men and me smiling like a baffoon email me) and thanked them for the previous nights show, now I wish I could thank everyone involved for the whole thing.
My three 'Elevation' experiences were three of the best nights of my life, not to mention Popmart in TO in '97.
