1st Vertgo show 9th overall. I'll start by saying I have followd this tour from day 1 and pretty much knew what to expect. Had seats behind stage, 8 rows deep. For those of you worried, I'll tell you they were great, you can see everything, light curtains are of no distraction at all, only thing is you cannot see what is on them(exept for the man walking in sycmioyo) the tradeoff is worth it to be close to the band.
Went in with open mind for Kings of Leon, but after 3 songs, out I went (bass was so thiok it went through you) They stunk. Funny how the lead singer looked just like Leonardo Dicario.
Expected LAPOR to open but was thrilled with city..very festive, I was in such awe of being so close to bono, they could have played anything.
VERTIGO: Good ....not as good as I imagined it would be live.
ELEVATION: Done well crowd was into it.
GLORIA: Bono said "this is off our 1st, no 2nd album", for a second I thought it would be electric co. again he fooled us. Sounded GREAT
THE OCEAN: crowd killer, however in a good spot, I need to catch my breath for a second.
BEUTIFUL DAY: exactly like the elevation tour
MIRICLE DRUG: bathroom break song my ass...was great.
SOMETIMES: His voice was just fine folks, you knew it with this song.
LOVE AND PEACE: Rocked, Bono on the drums was great.
SUNDAY BLOODY: as passionate as ever
BULLET: Don't care for song, but it fit in with the message the were delivering.
RUNNING : Only song I saw my whole section sitting down, couldn't believe it..loved it
STREETS: always a favorite
ONE: was just ok to me
ZOO: wanted UTEOTW but it sounded good
FLY: good but could do without
MYSTERIOUS: To me just ok, flat
ALL BECAUSE: same thought as Vertigo, not great live
YAHWEH: don't like the song
STILL HAVENT: Kids stole the show, nice moment
BAD: I was beside myself, was praying for it.
Crowd was not strong for 40 but enerjetic overall. Funny how Bank Robbers were better than KOL. Show was a 9 out of 10 for me.LOVED IT.
