TOTALLY AWESOME.
We (mom, 18 yo daughter and friend) started off our day from NY with a 2 hour drive to the arena getting in GA u2.com line at 10:00 a.m. #53, 54, 55. WOW. We were happy. Met some fun folks and hung out all day. (A bit burnt, but oh well) Just missed meeting bono and edge by minutes.
Very organized. Great job by the band and arena. Didn't get picket for the ellipse, but got on edge's side of RAIL. AWESOME.
Best Highlights:
Seeing my 18 yo's face to finally see u2 live for the first time. She didn't stop jumping and screaming all night.
Awesome set list. Every song was great. Of course, some have special meaning such as BAD.... My favorite of all time and they played it. WOW.
You have got to love a band who pulls a young NJ band up on stage and let them use their equipment to play one of their greatest songs of all time. That was the highlight of my night to just emphasize what great guys u2 are to give these kids the night of their life was so incredible.
The girl they pulled up was weird. Seen her at porta-potties after show and said, hey there is the girl of the night and she was not impressed at all...
Guys behind us were the only bad part of the night. Pushing up on us and screaming BONO, BONO all night was a bit annoying.
But to see them guys that close up was worth anything. They are the best.
We met some great U2 friends and can't wait to do it again in the future.
