I actually went to all 4 shows in the NY and NJ area, but cannot be bothered to post on all four nights. Besides, all nights have melted into one big incredible memory for me. It would be impossible for me to do a day by day review, but here are some of the highlights :

1. Meeting fellow (crazy) U2 fans. I have learned now why fan is short for FANATIC. I thought that I was dedicated, but I met some incredibly dedicated fans. Thanks to Matt and Dan (the tatoo man who was pulled up on 10/24 AND 10/28 during Stuck) for running the lines and to all the other great people I met in the wee hours of the morning on the pavement outside of MSG.

2. 10/24 -- in my opinion, the best night of all, just because of the energy I was feeling and so was the rest of the crowd on our first night of elevation. I was also three away from the tip of the heart and it was the first time I actually saw the B-man (i.e. God) up close and he even sung a line of Until the End of the World while looking straight in my eyes with those incredible blue beams of his. That was amazing. I also witnessed Ruth, who was 5 down from me, being pulled up on stage! Chicks definitely can play guitar.

3. 10/25--my moment at the tip of the heart. Yes, I made it to the very tip, which was was unreal. Bono actually lept into the audience on top of me. Didn't exactly know what to do, but went along with the crown and just stroked his legs! I also got a laugh out of seeing him use the lyric sheet to sing Stay (one of my very faves--I know all the words, whyd doesn't he?). It was also great to see that Khelia, another person I had been in line, with was pulled up during Bad. Well deserved.

4. 10/27--this time I had a seat, thanks to a generous person I met in line who sold me one behind the mixing board at face value. But the true highlight of the day for me was catching Bono coming in for the sound check and actually (sort of) meeting him. He really is short, but very handsome in real life. Of course, the wedding proposal and fireman were great, but so was hearing Please, finally, live.

5. 10/28--Even further away (sec. 241). Definite highlight was All I Want is You, which I was dying to see live! Also seeing Dan being pulled up again during Stuck was hilarious.

All in all, 4 incredible shows, and I was truly ELEVATED for my 3, 4, 5 and 6th time this tour.

I cried during all 4 performances of One.

It was sad when Bono said that it would be the last time they would be seeing a lot of us for a while. But he promised we would not wait long for the new album. Can't wait.

Thank you U2 for giving NY what we needed on this leg.
