I have never been so disappointed with a concert. I bought tickets when first available and they were $125/each, section 419. I was sooo pumped - last time I saw U2 was in 1987. Same friend and I went to this concert and both were just absolutely devastated...It was not the band..they seemed "on" but I could not hear a word. I know every word to all their songs and I could not tell what they were singing...
So many people in my section and sections all around "left" - I have never seen such a mass exodus at a concert. I would have paid much more to be in a smaller venue...I would be going to Norman but have plans to see Miley Cyrus with my 8 year old...the fact that she will be better than U2 is painful to say......
I hope Bono and the boys listen to their fans and know what a letdown this venue was for their fans - the acoustics were so bad. I wish they would re-visit Dallas for all their fans that had such a bad experience. It's so different going to a concert at 40 than at 18 - my expectations are alot higher!!!
