I was at the first u2 gig @ Croker back in 1985 as a 14 year old. In between have seen them about 10 times. Yesterday in a nice closure of the circle saw them with my 13 year old son. All I can say is that we can quibble with the odd choice but I remembered last night why I love u2. there are very few performers in this world who can have young and old on their feet singing along to old and new songs for 2 hours. Puts some of the snide commentary in it's place. Ultimately nothing beats great songs being played by people giving their all for songs they care about. Hopefully I'll see the hoors in another 25 years playing as well.
