The pressure was on for Croke Park and they really delivered. I started in the Q at 9am in the rain ! and eventually got my second choice spot at the rail by the right hand "B stage" at the "Circle". We were joined by Steve and Dave from the UK and Alex from northern Scotland.

Thumbs up to "Snow Patrol" who gave a blistering set in the rain, they really gave it 110 %.

Adam came down to the front of the B stage a few times and seeing to be having the time of his live, he was either very very happy or he was on something ! Early on a few chords were fluffed by the Edge, Adam and Edge just smiled at each other, great to see the Interplay.

The right side was definitely the place to be as I was within 6 foot of Adam on his few walk downs, Larry was down for the Drum bit also, and Bono also made a few visits. I did miss out on getting close to the Edge who was on the Left side.

The set list was fairly similar to previous shows, but they did put in a segment from Thin Lizzys "JailBreak", and repeated segments from the Beatles "Rain". Just before the end Bono started the reprise of Vertigo, but stopped it as he asked Larry "Whats the Gaelic for fourteen", they then restarted Vertigo and counted in Irish rather than Spanish.

An exceptional gig, and made all the more special by how close I was.
