I am not going to rehash all the views but i will second any complaints about the sound. i think it comes 100% down to the design of the stadium. The upperdeck is covered and they had speakers at the front edge of the "roof" and i think it resulted in a terrible design. i know all the lyrics so it wasn't a problem when they played a song. but i think i understood MAYBE 10% of what Bono would say when he spoke between the songs. That was very disappointing. We came all the way from Washington DC and had a blast. The crowd on the floor is something you just don't see in the States...everyone, and I mean EVERYONE bouncing to the music. Interestingly, i was getting Vertigo watching them bounce. Awesome to see. The visuals were great but the audio was terrible. I would assume the lower deck and floor had no problems but if you were under that roof, you were doomed. i saw them in Philly 6 weeks ago and it sounded great. I get them 2 more times in October so hopefully the sound will be like Philly (probably will be, the sound being much more conducive to arenas than stadiums). and no BAD. I am 0 for 2 this year. 2 more shots to hear it again. In my lifetime i am 2 for 8 in hearing that song. still...had a blast. great to finally say I have seen them in Dublin. may have to do it again on the next tour. :)
