WOW! (To steal a word used by Bono to describe the show). U2 was in top form and I couldn't have asked for a better performance. I saw them end their 1st leg in NJ and I thought to myself that it couldn't get better than this, but once you think that..U2 proves you wrong! After hearing the news of my little brother, Sean (Watchtower Kid) playing with U2 in Denver just a couple of nights prior to SLC, I was sitting on pins and needles to say the least.
No Doubt was a fantastic opener. Plenty of energy that really warmed up the crowd, at least I thought. Once U2 took the stage it was magical. It seemed every single person at the Delta Center stood/danced/sang the entire show. Utah seems has a very strong bond to U2...not exactly sure why?? I loved the set list and choice of songs, only wish I could have heard A Sort of Homecoming that those of you in Oakland (11/16) heard!
I only hope U2 continue to satisfy their fans (and themselves) with their music and tours and return to Utah in the future.
