Elevated once again....
Last night's show was my third U2 Elevation show...and it only gets better and better. The usual songs were played, however, "Wild Honey" and "Slow Dancing" were huge surprises! Bono's voice was raspy and struggling with the high notes during "Wild Honey" (done acoustically with Edge). During "Pride," snippets of MLK's speech was aired and produced a thunderous cheer in the audience; as well as when Bono grabbed an American flag from an audience member and hugged it for what it seemed like an eternity during "Sunday, Bloody, Sunday" (followed by chants of "USA!USA!"
See y'all in Philly!!!
I love U2...now more than ever.
