This was my first U2 show since 1987 and I must say, the boys are better than ever! Whoever designed this heart shaped ramp is a genious! Every major act should use a stage like this. As you can tell by my pictures, I was in the heart. Getting to watch the Edge standing right in front of me, being able to actually see him play like no one else can, was incredible. That being said, the show really kicked ass. "Elevation" is a great opener. Other highlights were "Party Girl" for Larry's birthday. I didn't even mind getting sprayed by the champagne! "Wild Honey" which is on ATYCLB but not as acclaimed as the other songs on that album. It was awesome played live. Another highlight for me was the guy in the cow costume holding up the "Got Milk" sign. Laughed my a$$ off at that! Being Halloween there were many people in costumes for the evening. That helped make a great night even more festive. I hope they swing back to the northeast USA again soon. Based on this nights performance, I will never again miss another U2 show within a 300 mile radius of where I live!
