Oh My GOD!!! I have been a U2 fan ever since i remember, but unfortunatly i didn't get the chance to see them in 97 and was longing for the Elevation tour... but it passed right trough us... So, i HAD to be on VERTIGO TOUR!!! And I was one of the lucky fans that were there to this AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, UNDESCRIDABLE concert!!!

All I can write can«t possibly describe what i lived there... all the emotions running will, tears of joy, just pure hapiness to see my best band ever perform live in front of me... I'll never forget this concert!! It's craved deep in my heart! I want to thank all the other 52000 fans that we're there with me, We WERE a WONDERFUL CROWD!!!

All the waiting to get the tickets, all the cents were worth it! I just they don't take too long to come back to us!!!

First off an EXPLOSIVE beggining with Vertigo and Bono saying in good portuguese UM, DOIS, TRÊS... CATORZE!!! Imediatly drove the crowd wild!!! And what a crowd, we sang along each and every song.. I had no voice at the end of the show, but what the hell, I had the best night of my life there! Then a trip to the past with I will Follow and Electric Co.just amazing!
And after, one of the best moments of the concert... Edge starts playing ELEVATION...we all went wild and imidiatly started singing uuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuu they were positivly surprised and we continued so, with Bono singing along in the air.. he started singing... and saying "WOW Muito muito obrigado" (that means thanks very very much) we really were ONE with the band... Bono raised his microphone and we say ELEVATION... i even felt shivers... beautiful, beautiful beautiful!!!
Then Beautiful Day with us singing alone parts of the song.... amazing too, and Bono underlying "I WILL BE WITH YOU AGAIN" in NEW year's day... awwww I will be there!
After I still havent found what I'm looking for... simply brilliant.. and in the beggining of the song when Bono thanks for the order of liberty medal..and says "Today we became portuguese" We went beyond wild!!! Love them!!!
Then the new songs came in, starting with City of Blinding lights, what a powerful song and all i can say is "oh you look so beautiful tonight", then Miracle Drug, fantastic, dedicated to the childrens hospital Dona Estefânia and Sometimes.. the way Bono dedicates it to his father and sings with emotion drives us all to tears... Love and Peace so powerful!!!
Then another blasting moment with Sunday Bloody Sunday!!! What a great song!!!
Bullet the blue sky next with Bono apearing with his medal... perfect!
And the moment of the night... Miss Saraevo... what a performance, you can actually feel shivers hearing Bono imitating Pavaroti... simply amazing!!! Pride and Streets very powerfull too, i missed the red background, but loved them both!!!

And One... that was the magic moment... the politc speach for Africa, the song, the declaration of the human rights in portuguese... i have no words..

Zoo station opens again with Fly next... i just love the Fly...
And With or without you! The conection between public and band..
The All because of you and Yahweh...and i knew it was close to the end.. so much emotion
And the surprize with 40... what a perfect end... it was the cherry on the top of the cake!!! The song finished and we kept singing "how long to sing this song" it was like we knew that was it.. that was the goodbye, but we didn't wanna say goodbye... Larry returned to the drums for a bit more and then it was over... the best night of my life... i was in heaven!!
i couldn't stop smiling! It was an unescritable night, all i typed, won't come even close to what i felt that night! I'll never forget this night!

It was a total deliver from us to the band and the band to us!!! I love U2!
I will never forget this night and i think they won't also!!!
