This was my first U2 show, I had been looking for the opportunity to watch them perform since 1996... got late to the doors of the atlanta stadium and wasnt able to get in for the Pop Mart show... Then another chance, New York city 2005 Vertigo, had the ETS package ready and airplane tickets as well....for the first time the american embassy did not grant me the Visa, that was really frustrating, but I still had the hope to get just one chance to see my band...and this was it. We got a real good deal to go all the way from Bolivia to Santiago Chile.
It came up to be the best show I've ever been in my whole life. I think it counted for all the times I missed them. I was the number 2637, a number I will never forget, it was a very nice surprise to know that I was going to be in the Golden Circle for my first show.
I was so close to them, is hard for me to explain how I felt every time Bono, Edge and Adam walked by on the right arm of the circle.
All the songs were amazing,it was woth waiting 16.5 hours for it. Every song, Every note I found myself singing so loud, to the point I broke into tears on With or without you. My emotions were fired up to 110% through the whole show...I will never forget.
Thanks U2 for an amazing experience, it was like a beautiful dream being just being there. I hope I can get to see another concert ahead....who knows.
I know that this is not goodbye.....Jorge
