WOW!!!!
How much better can it get?. I have been away from home for 2 years in Florida and I come back to find my fav band in town and the Sixers in the Championship. Oh but it gets better. I come home to find ROCK Is alive!!!
PhillyFans were out in full force!!! How else to explain an amazingly L O U D crowd!!!.
From Elevation on the boys were tight. the guy who wrote that first review...Whatever man.
You need more attention?. Well I just gave you some now go away. N'Sync needs you.
I was at opening night and I have seen this band A LOT. I am going to the last ten shows. 1st night Philly was aweosme especially the McVeigh rant. Bono was raging tonite as well. he said something along the lines of. "We don't need your help, America doesn't need your help, the war is over we are at war with ourselves". he sang this over a few times then stated some statistics then went off about Chapman-Lennon's murderer. Only Bono can sing something as dry yet important and make it carry a tune and not lose its power. It was downright menacing. M-Ways was sexy as usual. The crowd singing All I want is you as well as practically EVERY other song was just powerful for me. I had the, THE THEEEE exact dead center to the rear of Larry seat. First row lower bowl looking at larry's back. It was my 1st and only non GA in the heart seat out of 10 shows and I was not looking forward to it. Boy was I wrong. bono came up to us a lot and my view of an ENTIRE stadium standing and yelling and dancing was incredible. My date and I kept realzing we were seeing what the band saw every night, very cool.
The Fly just gets better and better. I love this new version. It starts of ambient and sexy and just explodes!!!! Light and motion Bono says, Light and emotion is what I say.
Good night Philly I miss you but its nice to know you are still there.
