This was my 8th U2 show and third of this leg. I saw the opener in Miami and also both Philly shows. To everyone in the GA line I was #95 and thanks for a great day. The show was awesome. I was inside the heart directly in front of Bono. Hearing Bono talk about the Sixers was great. Kite was played beautifully; before the song Bono said, “…this is a song about saying goodbye.” Bono apologized for not feeling well but I think he did a fine job considering he was sick. For me the highlight of the show was hearing the full band play All I Want Is You. (Amy last night you gave this song new meaning to me, everytime I hear it I will think of you.) Stuck In A Moment sounded awesome last night, they played it great. As always The Fly was awesome as well as Bullet, Streets, and One. Walk On is a great way to end the show. To clear up some thing about the cell phone call. I was behind the girl whose cell phone Bono took and talked on during the encore. I heard her tell someone that it was NOT her mom on the other end of the phone but it was one of her friends. While talking on the phone Bono did call her mom and he did tell her that the girl was fine. It seemed that the band didn’t want to leave the stage when the show was over Bono bent down and was talking to us in the front. I couldn’t hear what he was saying but he did take a poster from a girl. On the poster were well wishes from everyone in the GA line. To wrap this up the show was great and I would stand out in the 90 degree heat any day to do it all over again. I have been elevated. If anyone has audio of this show please email me. I would love a copy. I took three rolls of film inside and took many pictures during the show.
