I have been U2's biggest fan who had yet to see them live, due to a friend stiffing me on tickets to the POPMart tour and getting wrong information during the ZooTV tour. I spent 3 and a half hours on the phone this year to get tickets for one of the 4 concert dates at the Fleetcenter, but those sold out fast, so I ended up getting tickets for the second date in Philadelphia. Living outside of New Bedford, MA, I knew that this 6-7 hour drive would be worth it. When U2 stepped on stage and exploded with "Elevation" I was in a state of grace. All those years of trying to get tickets seemed to fade away as they mesmerized me with their 2+ hour set. Watching them perform has got to be one of the best experiences ever! Two of my friends along with my father joined me for the show. My friends were not as huge U2 fans as I am, but when they saw this show, they didn't hesitate to say this was the best concert they had ever seen. But then again, its U2, so would you expect anything else??
