I was totally disheartened with most of the crowd at the Philly show, and very upset with U2 for chosing the general admission seating arrangement! I was very surprised to not be able to barely breathe, because of the pushing and lack of crowd control! I stood at the stage waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes, Only to leave the area because of crowd problems after 3 songs, beer being thrown on my head, and actually having other females trying to claw their way over my shoulder, and begging me to move so they can try and touch Bono. Give me a break! I had to fight terribly to get out of the crowd.I think it is great there are younger people following U2 but I feel they chose to ignore their older fans who wanted to be up close as well, by choosing this arrangement. Maybe it was just the venue or lack of crowd
control, but seats would have been nice. I looked forward to this show for 3 months, paid high price for tickets on yahoo, and rented a limo to see the show. I heard the best place to see the show was at the tip of the heart where I was, but what a surprise, the band chose to stay on the stage anyway most of the night. I had a good feeling they sensed the trouble in the crowd that night. I must say the band really sounded there best! I wish I could have enjoyed the show!
