This was our last Elevation *sigh* ...and we were treated to yet another great show! I didn't think it quite matched the intimacy of Baltimore, but that's not a complaint! The FU Center was a good venue, the crowd seemed VERY loud and very into the show. From within the heart the place looked to be moving right up to the rafters!
Stereophonics rocked! (I knew they would, but then being from the UK maybe I'm a little biased!)
No huge surprises in this show from U2, must have used them all up in Providence ;-) but we *did* get Wild Honey...Bono didn't seem very talkative (really!)... the sound seemed good from in the heart...
This was best GA line organization experience of the 3 I've been in - First Union Center Security followed the fan numbering system and were wonderful! Other than the initial 'what time and where will the line begin' issue, there was no stress, no hassle & we even had port-a-potties! :-)
I've posted some of our pics with the review and there's more here: http://www.crosswinds.net/~webstuff/u2/ Select the 'Philadelphia - Photos -1 ' link...
