One of the best shows in years. Good to be inside again. Big stadiums are fun but you lose the intimacy of an arena. Last night brought me back to the Joshua Tree tour. Show was a mix of precision, bono add libs and mistakes. On kite, bono forgot the lines to the second verse, had the band come back around and went up to the mic and forgot the lyrics again; did make it throught the rest of the song. At one point he ran off the heart shaped stage and out into the floor. Spent about 5 minutes running around without lights. Nice mix of songs. At the end before walk on, he talked it over with the edge and they played a verse of dead man walking off pop. Edge sounded great. Brought audience member to play people get ready as they did in 80's. Took them a few minutes talking on stage to come up with this plan. Bono was on top of his game!
