Quite amazing!!!! (and that's an understatement) Bono and the boys were into it tonight and it showed throughout the concert. I was in the second from the last row at the top balcony and I still felt like he was playing just to me. Emotion was at a high!!
From Elevation to Kite the crowd's energy was really building (even with Bono's botched second verse on Kite, but he made up for it at the end of the song by singing it acoustically for us). New York gave the crowd an obvious lull (was that Yankees Suck! I heard?)
I Will Follow immediately picked things up from there and for the rest of the concert. I was very surprised by the fan and U2 playing People Get Ready rather than Stay. But that's what I was hoping for. Bad and Streets were great as usual but Pride was magnificent. It was the most emotionally charged song of the night (almost threw out my voice singing it).
The encores were great and Bono jumped into the crowd this time for The Fly (which he didn't do at Hartford).
Overall a wonderful night and one which I'll never forget. Thank You U2.
