First of all, go out and buy a PJ Harvey CD, great opener, good work PJ.
I have to say this was a great show. I have seen U2 on every tour since I saw them in Atlanta on the Conspiracy of Hope tour and this was a fantastic show. The understated staging was a lot more hi tech than one would think.
The music was right on. The band was tight and Bono's voice was as strong as I can remember.
Highlights were elevation which just shook The Vault's walls!...the symbolic laying down of the Irish flag handed to Bono, as he slowly walked away from it during SBS...f@#k the revolution....the bug on the windshield effect during MW...Kite....and the fantastic speech on AIDS in Africa...don't forget people the children didn't ask to get the disease...
Rock on U2, I hope you stay in Boston was a great one.
