Tonight was a great show, my second of the week butunfortunately, my last. Additions of 'The Sweetest Thing' and '11 O'clock Tic Toc' were greatadditions and caught me off guard. As much as I enjoyed sitting in the very last row of the balcony in section 306, I envied my U2 bretheren down in the heart. Maybe next time I'll have an opportunity to rub elbows with the common folk...maybe this fall. At any rate, the two shows I saw this week (opening night) were the best shows I have seen of the Dubliners ever. Despite reports of a weak vox on Bono during the opener, I thought they sounded and looked great - the best I've ever heard them. As much as I loved Zoo TV, this was what I've been waiting for - stripped down and straight forward U2. Good stuff. There is no denying that Boston is there home away from homes, and they certainly treated us like family and left us all with a wonderful gift. Thanks guys, look forward to seeing you in the fall.
Walk on!
