WOW!! Just got home from the show and I have to say, I'm totally spent! I haven't danced around that much and been so emotionally charged from a show for awhile. The set list was unbelievable; 'Party Girl' had me smiling ear to ear, as did 'Out of Control'. I was shocked to see the Boys belting out the "oldies" with as much drive and dedication as the newer favs. Unfortunately, Bono, although definately in great spirits, seemed a little spent by the end of the show. His voice wasn't holding up as well as his attitude was. After a full week in this wonderful city, their appreciation for Boston was really shining thru in tonights performance with many thanks going out to the fans for their many years of support and The Edge even sporting a Bruins shirt for the encore of the show. The encore's opener, 'Bullet...', had a very charged, thought provoking prelude regarding the atrocities behind hand gun violence - I loved the video clips they used! All in all, I completely enjoyed every second of the show and was once again reminded of why these guys have been my favorite band for the last 15 years. Bono did mention the possibility of swinging thru town again in the fall - hopefully we'll see everybody then!
