Well its sunday morning, and I, still prettu groggy, so Ill have to blur this one. 6 shows in 7 days. I started in Albany, and have been on the tour since. today Ill come down, but this is the reviews of the recent week. first of all on the HBO thing, Bono hinted to it on friday during 11 O'Clock tick tock, when he said "We thought the set was the answer, it was the seating we had wrong" In the heart there was a little protest, about 20 or so sat down and a few of them actually cried and felt that they had been wronged by U2 themselves. Thus when bono said I hear the children crying... It all seemed somewhat fitting, but I dont think it was his fault at all, Blame it on HBO man.
Ok last night, the final show, was the best U2 show I have ever seen, I finished this week off with 36 shows , and it was the best one I have ever seen. It took them having to build up to this one . Last night when they played Our of control, I said Ok I can die, and was thrilled they played enough of a different set that everything was covered that I wanted to hear, Even better was in there , and they jumbled the set up as well, (which made it difficult to know when to switch my discs.. ) It was the Armegeddeon of all U2 concerts so far. Some monster of a guy got on stage, and rushed it. He was needless to say tackled , but it would have taken a few guys to bring him down. Bono noticed this and he was pissed that this fan was getting roughed up. So he went and pulled the guy back onto the stage and yelled at the stage hands. THe guy carried bono around for a twirl or two, then did a lap around the heart with the spotlight on him. Only one encore from the buys last night, and I heard that 40 was on the set list but the guy onstage screwed that one up.
anyway, 6 concerts and one Speech, (I am a harvard student ) That was it for me.
