Just got back from the first Boston show, drenched from the pouring rain outside, but really excited about a spectacular show. I drove up from DC to see it, and wasn't disappointed for sure. The crowd was wild; they seemed to appreciate the new songs more than I had heard reactions on earlier bootlegs from this tour. The band was tight; no mistakes that I caught, and they were really into it. I'm looking forward to Thursday night! The setlist wasn't anything unusual from the rest of this tour; pretty "safe" all in all. The one thing that really surprised me was for "40" The Edge and Adam switched instruments. So, this was my 8th U2 show over the years, and the best.
