It certainly was a 'Wonderful Copenhagen'. I was so honoured they choose us for the opening European night, what a show! I cued up for hours with a load of KF's to make it into the heart and it was awesome, booyakasha. We sang 'how long' for hours outside in the heat. There was plenty of beer flowing as a couple of towel men war tours with the cut down sleeves turned up, right on brothers! The concert was brilliant and Bono (or Dave the Rave as his friends call him) was on top form. The first song Elevation is superb and very similar to Green Jelly's Little Pigs (very simialr guitar rifts anyway). A great opener though and the pace was kept up right through to the end song 'Walk On'. A truly memorable night and my only dissapointment was they never played Numb or When Love Comes to Town. The people of Denmark gave U2 such a warm welcome, Im sure they will be back soon.
