This was the first time I saw U2 live and it was spectacular. As I recall, U2 was the last to perform that night, sometime around midnight. I remember that the set was too short, but I don't remember all the songs that they played, but luckily U2tours.com has them listed.
I remember U2 playing Maggies Farm (at the time, I didn't know anything about this song). Bono got on top of an amp, blind folded himself while sqwatted, then stood up and stretched his arms in front of him and then above his head, like he was surrendering. I beleive that Edge was dutuning his guitar and had some wild feedback going on. Then, Bono removed his blindfold and looked around in a daze. It was so eerie that it gave me goosebumps. I have never experienced any so powerful since.
I also remember Bono singing Biko and that, too, was very moving. I've been moved by U2 concerts since then, but I'd have to say this was one of the more special ones for me.
