June 1st at the Meadowlands came and went but FOXBORO is finally here! Fun Lovin Criminals open again and I am warming up to their songs. Howie B spins his tunes and then New York, London, Paris, Munich, ......everybody talk about Pop Muzik!!
To come through the crowd as they do is the best concert entrance ever!! The sellout crowd was going crazy from beginning to end. The show has definitely become much more refined but flexible since they started in April. The addition of New Year's Day is most appreciated; the crowd clapped their hands over their heads to the beat as Bono lay flat on his back for about 1 minute in awe. The Staring at the Sun acoustic version with only Bono and The Edge is strong. The girls coming on stage during Miami has become too "set-up" if you ask me but that is the only criticism I can come up with. The energy level from the 50-60,000 fans and the music and effort by The Boys combined for the best show I've ever seen!!.......until the NEXT NIGHT..........
