Wow. Wow. Wow.
It's two days now since I saw the first Arnhem show and I'm still confused. What a great show. The sound might have been a bit better (I didn't notice as I was that much in front (at the tip of the heart)), but the show was that great that it didn't bother me.
I have been closer to the stage before but never on a better spot than Tuesday night. We helped Bono to get the little girl and later on her father on stage. The whole part on the catwalk happened right in front of me. Bono getting very angry during Sunday. Probably the best version of Stay i've ever heard, Bono playing with the Edge and of course all four with Desire: All right in front of me not more than one meter away!
The setlist was standard for a first show, but it is that powerful that is was great. I will be in Arnhem on Friday also, so I hope they will play some other songs there as well.
Hope we do not have to wait another four years.
Guys: Great show, see you on Friday again.....
