This was defenitively one of the best nights of my life. 4 days earlier in Seattle I was sitting up in section 219 with my back against the wall, and my view partially blocked by a giant screen. On tuesday I paid 160 for the last g.a. ticket on ebay, it arrived at round noon on thursday. I went to the show as soon as I could, lining up at around 4. When I went through it took a few moments for me to register that my ticket was actually flashing red! They let me take two people in the elipse with me, my sister and her friend which was nice of them. I lined up at the edge of the bombshelter waiting for the show to start.

The show was absolutely incredible. There was great energy running through the room as Bono kept complimenting how great the Vancouver crowd is. The show was being filmed which was hugely exciting. I think City is a bit of a better opener than love and peace because it seems to get the crowd more into it, or that jut might have been the fact that I was closer to the action. The group didn't seem as reluctant to prowl the elipse tonight as they did in Seattle. Which is cool for all the regular g.a. ticket holders. It really seems to get the crowd into it when they walk around.

I came within a foot of Bono about twice, once when he reached over and once at the beginning of the show! If your lined up along the edge during the opening keep your eyes peeled for Bono crouching along the sides, he was right behind me once apparently but I missed him. They played Bad and original of the species, two songs which haven't been played much yet were nice to hear. Personally i think the best part of the show is the Achtung Baby segment of zoo station, the fly and mysterious ways. Great show, hope it makes it on a dvd.
