I have been a huge fan ever since I saw them for the first time in May 1987. This was my seventh show and I give them an 7 out of 10.
My first impression was what was up with Bono's voice? I thought it was a bit high, almost whiny, and not as deep as he usually is. If I didn't see and hear it for myself I wouldn't have thought it was him singing. I guess I am in the minority on this since only one reviewer commented on it, (so far).
The bad: Breath is a terrible opener, the closer was weak, didn't like the remix of Crazy, missed Bad, missed Unknown Caller, No Line didn't play well, YBR was a waste. I am surprised so many people like Ultraviolet so much as I didn't see what the big deal was.
The good: Hey, it's U2! I love them, I love their presence, and I am happy I am going back tonight. Loved I Still Haven't Found What I Am Looking For, Where the Street Have No Name, Elevation, Mysterious Ways.
Like most people, I prefer arena shows as you lose something outdoors but as far a stadium show goes I thought it was great, (and way better then Pop Mart). I was on the floor and thought the crowd was good, (for an outdoor show). I could care less about the Claw; I just want to see the boys!
