I agree with TBoneNYC, not a very good show at all. I too have seen many U2 concerts (25+), my first at Compton Terrace in Phoenix for the Unforgetable Fire tour. I am a huge U2 fan and look forward to every concert of theirs I go to. Bono did not sound like Bono. I think the new songs (plus age) have put a huge strain on his voice. Was it me or did anyone else feel he was singing each note at a higher pitch than what it was supposed to be? I appreciate the Happy Birthday to Bruce, but please if you are going to sing a classic from the Born to Run Album, don't dumb it down. If you wanted to dumb down a song and make it fun, sing Glory Days or something similar. Too much hype on the stage and a very bland set list. Aggh, Bruce turned 60 and the boys of U2 are going into their 50's. We are all getting old and it sucks!
PS - NJ Transit, shame on you. Trains (or should I say, wait) from hell. Don't run the trains if you cannot handle the crowds. What a nightmare.
