What a difference a day makes. This concert was what i had been expecting on the first night. Energy, excitement and unabashed joy.
It was my birthday show and got in line a bit early for GA. Second row from the Bstage.
Opening with Magnificent was a great call. Dropping Pride both nights may have been even better. Your Blue Room did leave the crowd cold after the raucous beginning but its nice to see something that different given a chance. Bonos voice was a little rough but managed to fight through.
Being so close on the field means you dont get to take in the grandure of the stage show, instead you become a part of the show itself. Felt it was a duty to put my hands up, jump in time and belt out every line at the top of our lungs.
After a tepid first night, the boys get it right. Well done!
