I went to both boston shows and the set list was ok although very short compared to past tours and the stage is useless .. I expected to have this big claw looking thing doing something besides lighting up . We saw smoke coming out of the top of it the first but nothing but lights the 2nd night.. The only thing that moves on the stage are these bridges that are just ugly looking catwalks .. Dont take this wrong because i really love U2 but unless you have never seen one of there concerts you will be disapointed.. I sat on two different sides - one of them was row 2 and the other was row 17 .. Out of both of the whole shows Bono was in front of us for maybe 5 minutes . He seemed to be in a rush and my only thought is that maybe he had some inside info about terrorist crap and he just wanted to get in and out .. If that was the reason for his rather rushed performance than i completely understand but if this is just the way he is going to do this tour, then all i believe is this tour was only about the money in his pocket . Honestly we very frequently go to see a tribute band called Unforgettable Fire and they put on a better performance and even sound better than U2 did this time. I am going again to see them in the meadowlands thursday only because I have the tickets already otherwise i would have rather gone and seen the tribute band Unforgettable Fire .. ( UF2.com )
