Having seen U2 9 times before I was sceptical they could hit the highs I've experienced before which included seeing them in Dublin RDS during the ZOO TV tour. A few friends reckoned U2 were past it however on walking into the stadium and seeing the stage, even a serious U2 fan like myself was gobsmacked. From the "Ground control to Major Tom" intro through to Moment of Surrender I witnessed the best show, performance and sound of my life. The new tracks are stunning live and will only get better in time. Sunday Bloody Sunday, Streets, Elevation were immense and the crowd singing "I Still Havent Found"(verse and chorus without Bono backing us) will live for me forever. 60,000 crowd take a bow. The unfrotunate sound loss was at worst a blip and did not detract from what is the best live show Scotland has ever witnessed by a Glasgow audience.
If your going to one more gig in your life make sure it's U2 you see.
