Just read thru all the reviews! It seems that where you sat/stood made ahuge difference to how the gig felt. Having been to manchester 1st night I`m so glad i went to Glasgow. The atmosphere was fantastic, the stewards kind, considerate and helpful, the stage show awesome, cos we could see it this time, makes a huge difference. Never go to a u2 concert and get a seat!! You have to stand. That said the sound was truly appalling, we wondered around the pitch at the back to find a good spot, it was possible, but then lost sight of the stage.
The experience was one i`ll never forget, just to be lifted up by this amazing band. For me Streets with no name and 2nd vertigo were the best. And to leave the stadium with people singing, laughing and buzzing was great. Shame about 2 hours wait in the car park though, at least we were sitting down at last!
