Firstly I've never seen U2 live before so I have nothing to compare it too, but I absolutely loved this show.
I agree that in places the sound was really rubbish and yeah we had a pretty rubbish seat for £60 and the support wasn't the best(why didn't they have Franz Ferdinand, El Presidente or some other scottish band?) but I was still blown away at the end of the night!
The mixture of old and new stuff was brill and the crowd also made it for me. Everyone got right into it and I really enjoyed the experience. One thing did really annoy me though, we had a side view of the stage which meant you couldn't see any of the screens. When they put the text number up we couldn't even see it!!! I think that feature got a bit lost on the crowd as you couldn't really hear what Bono was saying! But they U2 definately know how to rock!
