What a truly amazing night when U2 came on stage. We were down the left hand walkway out to the crowd and had no problems with the sound at all down there. This is the first time I have seen U2 and was completely blown away by their performance and the light show.
Only negatives for me were the god-awful support bands - support bands are usually there to get the crowd going and build up the atmosphere for the main act - hands up all those who knew any of the songs played by the support - see not that many at all!!! The other big dissie for me was the way U2 just appeared on stage, again a lack of build-up and big entrance.
Anyway, these points aside it was an amazing evening and I wish I was going again - if you have tickets for any other shows then you are the luckiest people around - ENJOY!!!
