Being a New Zealander, living in the UK for a short period of time, this was my first U2 gig and to be fair, probably my last. I honestly can't see them heading back to the shores of Aotearoa any time soon.
All I can say is that this is exactly what I wanted to see from the guys. An almost perfect show. Wild Horses is one of my favourite songs and to hear it live was just amazing. I'd turned up mistakingly early that day but soon turned to my advantage as I managed to get some of the best seats in the house. Please see my photos to show you how close I got.
When I go back to NZ in the not to distant future, I can easily say I saw the best band on earth play the best show on earth in Glasgow, summer 2005.
